Battery Management Systems (BMS)

 

V-BMS Battery Management Systems have been developed for the management and safety requirements of high-capacity battery groups.

 

The prominent specifications of the system are the following:

*Precise Measurability (1 mV tension, 25mA Current, 1 C temperature)

*High-Current Balancing (1.2 Ampere in passive balancing, while 5 ampere in active one)

*Flexible Coupling options such as CANBus and MODBus.      

*Flexible Programmability

 

 

Passive Battery Management System

 

 

Thanks to high-capacity passive balancing system, V-IQ battery management system presents all imaging and preserving functions that are needed in lithium-containing battery groups together.

V-IQ system can easily be used in battery groups having up to 60 cells. In addition to this, V-IQ system also presents up to 20 temperature sensor and 10 current sensor connections. The system includes internal temperature relay and also outlet for charge and discharge relays.

 

Thanks to its special software, V-IQ battery management system enables all functions within the system to be programmed flexibly. The specific procedures, including the warning/alarm levels, can be programmed to any level. In addition to its unexampled unique specifications, V-IQ battery also enables its characteristic to be programmed as well. Thus, V-IQ can track charging (SOC) and health status (SOH) at full length.

Active Battery Management Module

 

 

V-ACT presents the active balancing technique commercially for the first time in the world. In addition to the fact that the “Active Battery Management System” that was developed enables high-capacity balancing speed, it is able to preserve 99 per cent of the total energy of the group. The energy conversation structure of the system prevents the heat production. Thanks to this property of the system, V-ACT modules can be assembled to DIN rails.

 

Standard V-ACT modules include 6 cell potential measurement, 2 temperature measurement and all other equipment necessary for the active balancing of all cells. The modules also include optional analog and digital current detector couplings.

 

By uniting an adequate number of V-ACT module by means of the intermediate coupling cables, you can create the battery management system that you need. Thanks to the characteristic of V-ACT configuration software and battery group, you can program the warning and alarm functions and also view the management data in the system.
